4. Iqlaab - when the letter ba comes after a noon saakinah or tanween, the noon
sound is pronounced as a meem.



5. Ikhfaa - this is when the noon saakinah/tanween is pronounced in a way between
Idhaar and Idghaam.

The letters of Ikhfaa are the remaining letters of the alphabet after the letters of
Idhaar, Idghaam and Iqlaab which are: ت، ث، ج، د، ذ، ز، س، ش، ص، ض، ط، ظ، ف، ق، ك









6. Special Idhaar - when the letter ya comes after a noon saakinah within a single
word, the rule is Idhaar, not Idghaam.



7. Tanween with Hamzatul-Wasl - when there is a hamzatul-wasl after a tanween,
read with a kasra.
